Spiced Chickpeas


Spring has sprung. Asparagus...salads...sunshine! We are absolutely loving the change of season at the moment. Isn't it amazing how your body naturally feels like different foods in different seasons? I am currently enjoying salads and Buddha / sunshine bowls most days at the moment and I find a few little whip ups such as aioli, crunchy seasoned seeds or these tasty spiced chickpeas make life a lot easier to whip up speedy lunches.

These spiced chickpeas are super quick to prepare and keep in the fridge for a good few days. They add a lovely burst of flavour to a variety of dishes and the spices can easily be adapted to suit your taste.

Ingredients:

1 can / 400gm cooked chickpeas

1/2 tsp salt

1 Tbs smoked paprika

1 clove crushed garlic / 1 tsp garlic powder

2 Tbs olive oil

Method:

1. Heat olive oil over a medium heat and add chickpeas when hot.

2. Add seasoning and cook for a further 5 minutes or so until spices are cooked through.
